5:00 Kick off the weekend with great music and a pig roast in Central Park! The evening gets started at 5:00 with food and entertainment.
6:30 - 8:15 Run Mountain performs
From rollicking fiddle breakdowns to mountain ballads to hillbilly blues, this energetic old-time string band breathes new life into American roots music. Run Mountain combines the musicians' talents into an exciting and engaging ensemble featuring powerful vocals accompanied by banjo, fiddle, guitar, harmonica, ukelele with flatfoot dancing to boot. Sponsored by New England Woodcraft.

You won't want to miss them. Bring the family, bring your blanket, and enjoy the music.

Participate in workshops led by local artists and talented folks. Select from the varied list and perhaps you'll discover you have a new talent!

10:00 - 10:30 -- Be a Star Brandon Artists Guild
The Brandon Artists Guild is having a star party and you're invited! Join members of the BAG and decorate your own star. Children are welcome to bring pictures of themselves or their family to decorate and personalize their wooden star.

10:00 - 10:30 -- Chef Louis Pattis Cookie Decorating
Chef Louis, of the Brandon Inn, will demonstrate decorating techniques on fresh baked sugar cookies. Children and parents can decorate with various toppings and icings. Participants can enjoy "hands-on" decorating and may "eat" their creations!

10:00 - 11:00 -- Christy Gahagan Pilates
Pilates emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement. Join Christy and learn how a few basic exercises in pilates can reveal imbalances in the body and how to strengthen your muscles for daily life!

10:00 - 11:00 -- Ed Thomas with John Brodowski For the Birds
This is a great workshop for families and all ages! Come and assemble your very own birdfeeder for your backyard with the help of Ed Thomas. Then paint it to give it your own distinctive look.

10:00 - 11:00 -- Nancy McGil Crafts! Crafts! Crafts!

10:00 - 11:45 -- Sue Carey Felt a Fish!
Learn to needlefelt! Needlefelting is the art of using special needles to form and felt wool. Using various techniques, almost any kind of object can be created. Participants will create a fish using wool roving provided by the instructor. Please note: The needles are sharp so the workshop is not appropriate for young children.

10:00 - 11:30 -- Kathy Hirschberger Geocache in Brandon
Learn how to use a GPS (global positioning system) and the rules for geocaching. The group will go on at least 1 and hopefully 2 "hunts" in the downtown area to find caches. Join us and learn about a fun, familty activity that provides quality time and

1:30 - 2:30 -- Rob Zollman Community Drum Circle
Spontaneous "in the moment" music-making brings people of all ages and musical ability together in a spirit of community. Participants will use drums and percusion instruments and everyone has something to offer the circle. This is a fun, family friendly event, where people empower each other in the act of celebrating community and life through rhythm and music.

1:30 - 2:30 -- Kenny Cifone Make Your Own Instrument
Learn how a stringed instrument produces sounds. Participants will build and play simple instruments out of wood, plastic cups, rubber bands and masking tape.

1:30 - 2:30 -- Boys & Girls Club Make a Mask
Make your own mask with the staff of the Boys & Girls Club!

1:30 - 2:30 -- Eileen Button Bracelets
Buttons exist in all shapes, colors and textures and lend themselves perfectly to making exquisite bracelets. Join Eileen of Contrary Mary's Craft Boutique and select the perfect buttons for your own creation.

1:30 - 2:30 -- Brandon Area Teens Face Painting
Have fun learning face painting techniques and bring a friend to practice with. Or just get your face painted.

1:30 - 2:30 -- Gloria Trinci Hand Paint Alpaca Yarn
Hand painting yarn is as easy as finger painting, and at least as much fun! Dyeing with Kool-Aid is an easy, fun way to hand dye yarn. Gloria will teach you the techniques to create colorful yarns.

1:30 - 2:30 -- Kim Faber Friendship Bracelets
Friendship bracelets are special bracelets given from one friend to another as a symbol of friendship. They are usually made out of embroidery floss and are easy and fun to make. Bring a friend and create a friendship bracelet together.

7:00 -- Movie Night & Student Films
Enjoy animation and live action shorts created by area students, followed by a feature family movie that everyone will enjoy.
